By using Velvyn Health, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Velvyn Health does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information provided through the application is intended for general health and wellness purposes only. This app is not a substitute for professional medical advice, and should not be relied upon as health or personal advice.

Have any pre-existing medical conditions
Are taking any medications
Have a history of heart disease or high blood pressure
Are pregnant or recently gave birth

3. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that physical exercise involves inherent risks including but not limited to muscle strains, sprains, fractures, cardiac events, and other injuries. You assume all risks associated with using this application and performing any exercises.

4. Limitation of Liability

Velvyn Health, its developers, and contributors shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your use of this application or participation in any exercises or programs.

5. Proper Exercise Form

Users are responsible for:

Learning and maintaining proper exercise form
Starting with appropriate difficulty levels
Using appropriate weights and equipment
Stopping immediately if experiencing pain or discomfort
Warming up before and cooling down after workouts

6. Information Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate fitness information, we make no guarantees about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the content. Exercise information may not be suitable for all individuals.

7. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

Evaluating your own fitness level
Choosing appropriate exercises
Modifying exercises as needed
Seeking professional guidance when necessary
Maintaining proper nutrition and hydration

8. Equipment Safety

Users must ensure all exercise equipment is properly maintained, in good working condition, and used according to manufacturer guidelines. Always use safety equipment such as collars, spotters, and appropriate footwear.

9. Health and Fitness Data (Apple HealthKit / Google Health Connect)

With your permission, Velvyn Health accesses health and fitness data from Apple HealthKit and Google Health Connect to support walking, activity tracking, and health insights.

This may include:

Step count (walking and running)
Distance traveled
Active calories burned
Heart rate (if available)
Workout and exercise sessions
Sleep data (if enabled by user/device)

This data is used solely to provide fitness tracking, walking history, activity summaries, and personalized fitness insights within the app.

Velvyn Health does not use health data for advertising purposes and does not sell health-related data.

Health data providers (Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect) are accessed strictly for enabling health insights and fitness tracking features.

10. Health & Activity Data Tracking

When you use Velvyn Health, we collect and process health and activity data from Apple HealthKit and Health Connect including:

Walk and run sessions
Steps, distance, and pace
Active calories burned
Heart rate during workouts
Workout type and duration

This data powers your Recovery Score, Sleep Insights, Heart Health analysis, Wellness Score, and Movement tracking. Data is stored securely and used solely to provide your health and fitness insights within the app.

11. Data Privacy

Velvyn Health collects and processes information necessary to provide health tracking services, including account information, health activity, progress, and user-provided profile information. Information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect user information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Fitness Data Storage

Velvyn Health stores health activity, progress, and related information to provide tracking features and improve your experience. Data may be stored locally on your device and/or securely synchronized with our services depending on enabled features.

13. Subscription and Payments

Certain Velvyn Health features may require a paid subscription. Subscription pricing, features, and availability may change at any time.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Subscription management and cancellation can be performed through your app store account settings.

14. Feature Availability

Some features may only be available to specific membership tiers. Velvyn Health reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features from free or paid plans.

15. Minors

This application is intended for adults 18 years and older. Minors should only use this app under direct adult supervision and with parental consent.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. You will be notified of significant changes.

17. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable local laws.

You also acknowledge that health insights provided by Velvyn are for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
